Meet The Team
Owner/ Primary Therapist/ Clinical Supervisor
Fiorella Marquez, LPC
Hi, I’m Fiorella, a therapist, traveler, road-trip lover, and firm believer that healing does not have to feel lonely. My passion for mental health began when I was a freshman in college. That was when I realized how little awareness there was around mental health and how difficult it was to navigate my own neurodivergent brain. Living with ADHD often left me feeling misunderstood, and it came with depression and anxiety. As I began to understand more about myself, I grew curious about the ways our experiences, families, and environments shape us. That curiosity became the foundation for my career and the way I now walk alongside others in their own journeys.

When I finally tried therapy, finding the right fit was a process. Once I found a therapist I felt safe with, everything shifted. I learned that therapy works best when it feels like a genuine relationship—when you can bring your whole self and feel supported, not judged. That realization inspired me to become the kind of therapist I once needed. I switched my major from pre-med to psychology, and ever since, my focus has been on helping people feel seen, understood, and capable of creating lasting change in their lives.

In my work today, I use a variety of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to meet clients exactly where they are. These include EMDR (in training), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, polyvagal theory, and trauma-informed care. At the heart of it, I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we can create clarity, foster healing, and uncover the resilience that has always been within you.

Outside the therapy room, I love exploring new restaurants, traveling, and taking road trips that bring me somewhere unexpected. I find joy in creativity, whether that is through art, hands-on projects, or simply bringing an idea to life. Community and connection fuel me, and I treasure time with friends and family. Most of all, I love being with my German Shepherd, Prince, who keeps me grounded and reminds me to slow down and appreciate life’s simple but meaningful moments.
Mental Health Therapist- Associate level
Kayla Bakin, LAC
I am a dedicated therapist that brings a unique blend of personal and professional expertise. I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon university and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from San Jose State University, obtained in 2018. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and am peer support certified.

My journey into mental health care was motivated by my own experiences with trauma and co-occurring disorders, which profoundly shape my empathetic approach to therapy. I integrate Humanistic, Solution-Focused, and Attachment Theory perspectives with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored approach to each client’s needs.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an assessment coordinator and case manager at a dual diagnosis treatment center for 3 years, gaining valuable experience in supportive roles that focus on helping people recover and build their lives.

Personally, I am driven by a desire for deep connection, empathy, compassion, and a clear sense of purpose in my work. I am supported by my husband Jared, and maintain a close relationship with my parents, who have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.

In my free time, I enjoy the company of my two kitties, Benny and Jett, and indulge in my passion for reading, particularly fantasy novels. I also have an active social life, enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, and have a love for true-crime documentaries.
